Type Soul Vow of Sway
With this Vow, when you parry an attack or perform a perfect dodge from an oncoming attack from an opponent, a bar will fill up. Once the bar is fully filled upon being guard broken, a cut scene plays out showing you kicking your enemy away. This has a 120-second cooldown before you can use it again.
The only restriction this Vow has is that it cannot be used with Ancient Vasto.
How To Get the Vow of Sway
There is some speculation on how to get Vows in Type Soul. However, it seems you need to speak to the Bamboo Hat Man, who resides in the third layer of Hell. When handing him a Stream of Reiatsu, you can fight him in battle. If you will, you will obtain a random Vow.
Because it’s random, you may need to defeat him multiple times. There are a few Vows available, so you may get one of the others.
Some players have also reported that they have obtained Vows from Soul Wars and ranked matches.
Is It Any Good?
If you’re confident in your ability to fight and dodge attacks, this is a solid Vow to have. If you think the 120-second cooldown is too long to wait, the Vow is Sacrifice is also a solid option. With this, you sacrifice some of your damage and posture in exchange for a spirit version of you that can fight. It only has an 8-second cooldown, which is a lot shorter.
