Unlocking Your Flow
First, you need to access Flow, which you gain by performing 30 NPC kills or getting 1 grip on another player. You can only grip players whom you’ve defeated in battle, so be careful, as they typically put up more of a fight than NPCs.
Flow is also relatively easy to build passively just through playing the game, so I wouldn’t worry too much about the specifics.
With Flow, you can pop a health pack when your HP gets low, and you also gain Flow Step, which allows you to rapidly phase forward and travel quickly over short distances.
How To Obtain Flow Step in Nethros
When you’ve begun channelling Flow, you’ll unlock new abilities whilst using it. This includes Flow Step, which has the chance to trigger during perfect dodges, black flashes, or spamming shift dashes.
- Perfect Dodge
- During a fight, you’ll have fleeting opportunities to dodge incoming attacks. If you ask friends to help you out, you may be able to unlock your Flow Step quicker by dodging their attacks.
- Black Flash
- Black Flash is a JJK-inspired assault move, which has the chance to unlock your Flow State when used. Again, you could ask friends to help you out by letting you hit them with this strike.
- Shift Dash
- Shift dashing is a simple manoeuvre used in and outside of combat to move around the map and change direction quickly.
What Is Flow Step?
Flow Step takes inspiration from Bleach, allowing players to become a temporary obscurity that moves rapidly and instantaneously.
Flow Step is great for faster travel, but also has its uses in combat as it allows the Flow Stepper to close in on unsuspecting targets, or quickly evade and get out of combat if they need to heal up and escape.
