Blue Protocol Star Resonance Class Tier List
S-TIER
- Shield Knight
- TANK
- F2P-friendly, beginner-friendly, very independent play due to self-healing
- Heavy Guardian
- TANK
- Much more durable than Shield Knight, it focuses on damage reduction and blocking incoming damage, making it sturdy and good for hectic conflict. HP is hard to whittle down. Easier time with high-level content.
- Beat Performer
- SUPPORT
- Provides healing and buffs that scale with the equipped gear for this Class. Great for group formations to keep teammates alive and well-stacked with enhancements.
- Storm Blade
- DPS
- Katana-style attacker with a rich variety of moves to utilise, making it very skill-expressive and fun to play.
A-TIER
- Verdant Oracle
- SUPPORT
- Gear-independent, doesn’t require a lot of gear to enhance healing. Very traditional healer. Very F2P-friendly and beginner-friendly.
- Marksman
- DPS
- Ranged Class, and one of the easiest DPS to adapt to.
- Ice Mage
- DPS
- Very traditional Magic user, yet limited to solely ice attacks. Decent close and long-range attacks. Very beginner-friendly.
B-TIER
- Wind Knight
- DPS
- Attacks quickly and swiftly, but it isn’t the easiest to play due to an overabundance of skills that form into a somewhat priority list, meaning it’s hard to execute specific attack types.
C-TIER
- No classes to see here.
D-TIER
- No classes to see here.
What Each Tier Means
S: The top tier is reserved for the best of the best! Of all 8 Classes, 4 are DPS, 2 are Supports, and 2 are Tanks. It’s critical to utilise and synergise between Supports and Tanks, which creates this meta groove that fits only the best of the slim availability.
A: These alternative options are great if you’re unsure about the top picks or want to experience a different combat style. They’re still powerful for their niche (DPS/Tank/Support), but aren’t as coherent as my top-tier picks.
B: Nestled into the middle tier, these Classes are decent choices, expressing average capabilities and solid skills to enhance their own gameplay and that of others during guild battles/etc.
C: Whilst not the worst selection, these Classes are tricky to adapt to fully, and they aren’t completely beginner-friendly. Overall, I recommend selecting a Class from a higher tier.
D: These weak Classes are the worst of their category, not hosting versatile enough skills to justify them being your mains. They’re hard to handle and master, with only niche and situational uses across the game.
