How To Unlock Flying in Blue Protocol Star Resonance
To unlock flying, you must first head to Ancient City, which is located in the bottom nook of the map. Next, find the giant blue flower that allows you to Resonate when you approach.
Resonating here will unlock the Asteria Plains Float Skill, which you equip by heading into Skills, pressing the third tab, and then dragging the Float Skill into your hotbar at the bottom.
To fly, gain enough height with the help of Wind Tunnels and then left click whilst mid-air to engage in flight. If you don’t activate your wings, you’ll simply and slowly float instead, gradually losing altitude.
How To Fly in Blue Protocol
The flying mechanic relies on real-world physics. Deploy your wings to gain momentum after reaching your cruising height. Gain speed by weaving up and down, diving slightly before opening your wingspan again to gain speed and height. Repeat this to fly continuously.
You’re not able to fly indefinitely and will need to land eventually, but unlocking flying is excellent for early-game map exploration and traversing between areas.
It may take some practice to understand how to fly, so I recommend practising during the early game to make it feel like second nature later on.
Brigand Camp
If you create a wind tunnel at Brigand Camp and then dive into the main wind tunnel at the centre of the camp, you’ll gain enough height to reach the top of the mountain nearby in one go!
