What Each Tier Means
S: The strongest blades that reign above the rest! Those in this tier have the sharpest edges, offering high damage and versatile skills that are capable of carving down a variety of enemies, regardless of their combat style.
A: Secondary to the best, these weapons are great alternatives to the top tier if you don’t like wielding them or are struggling to obtain them. Those in this tier are just shy of being the meta, but are so powerful and well-adapted that their lesser damage is almost negligible.
B: Nestled into the average tier, these weapons are decent contenders in your progression. They’re relatively average, with decent damage and skills in their lineup, but have a long way to go before reaching the meta. Overall, they’re good options to have in your arsenal if you want to quickly upgrade away from the lower tiers.
C: Despite escaping the worst tier, these weapons aren’t great stepping stones in your progression. Ideally, you’ll aim to skip over these entirely and go for a mid or high-tier weapon to bypass the monotonous grind. Those in this column aren’t entirely useless, but are weak and a waste of an investment.
D: This lonesome tier hosts the Katana, often the humble beginnings for players beginning their weapons mastery journey. After investing some skill points, you’ll notice the katana is stronger than fists, but it still has a long way to go before it carves through tougher enemies.
