You probably already heard about this a month ago. That Minecraft is crossing over with Dragon Ball Z and dropping a DLC with it. Developed by Cyclone, the new Dragon Ball Z DLC is now available on Minecraft Marketplace.
What’s in store in the Dragon Ball Z DLC of Minecraft?
It lets you step into the pixelated boots of Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, and several other characters from Akira Toriyama’s classic series. It’s an adaptation that recreates memorable Dragon Ball Z moments inside Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
There are explosive energy blasts, chaotic tournaments, and a few nostalgic locations to explore between battles. You start off at Kami’s Temple, right beside the entrance to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. You can select from nearly 20 fighters.
Every character comes with signature attacks such as the Kamehameha, Galick Gun, and Ki Blast. Unlocking new fighters happens through combat. Once you’ve defeated them, they become available for future matches.
The DLC also features several major battlegrounds straight from Dragon Ball Z. You’ll get to see the World Martial Arts Tournament arena and the famous Cell Games Arena. These stages are for cooperative play as well as intense five-on-five battles.
Other settings like Planet Namek and Capsule Corporation are also part of the DLC. In fact, the latter serves as a safe hub for players to regroup or just wander around between fights. On that note, catch a glimpse of the DLC here.
