Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is heading to theatres worldwide soon, with its English dubbed version. In fact, the United States is getting it earlier than expected. The release will follow the movie’s Japanese release on September 19th.
In the US, Chainsaw Man will now open on October 24th instead of the previously announced October 29th. Sony and Crunchyroll revealed the change alongside a new Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc English dub trailer. The team also shared a recap video that shows Denji’s journey so far.
The story picks up right after the anime’s first season. Denji finds himself drawn to Reze, a seemingly ordinary barista who hides a far more dangerous side. Torn between his feelings for her and his complicated loyalty to Makima, he’s thrust into a fight against the Bomb Devil.
The trailers highlight the intense battles as well as MAPPA’s striking animation. You must be curious to see their signature blend of fluid action and atmospheric detail. So, here are the latest trailers!
Meanwhile, there are some special events lined up
A stage greeting event will be held on September 20th at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya. The main cast Toya Kikunosuke (who voices Denji), Kusunoki Tomori (Makima), Sakata Shogo (Hayakawa Aki), and Ueda Reina (Reze), will be present.
The event will also have Uchida Yuya (the Violent Demon), Uchida Maaya (the Angel Devil), and Takahashi Karin (Higashiyama Kobeni). Their appearance will be after the 12:15 pm screening and precede the 3:30 pm screening.
And as we reported earlier, the Japanese audience has additional screening formats to look forward to. MX4D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema runs will begin on October 4th. 12 theatres are handling MX4D, 62 are showing it in 4DX, and 9 showing in Dolby Cinema.
