What Each Tier Means
S: These powerful characters truly make the OBT more enjoyable, allowing you to progress further during this limited gameplay time. If you want to explore as much of the game as possible and dive into the combat mechanics, I recommend aiming for these partners.
A: A tier down, these characters aren’t too dissimilar from the top tier, so you could very well enlist these and still thoroughly enjoy the OBT for all it offers. Those in this tier have strong potential and good combat versatility, but are slightly overwhelmed when compared to the top tier.
B: Nestled into the average tier, these are tertiary options for team filler if you can’t get your hands on a team of those solely in the higher tiers. They’ll require a bit more grinding to fully realise, but are still decent for the OBT.
C: Weak, but not the worst. You can and should aim for better to really get stuck into the OBT and feel fulfilled from the gameplay.
D: Weak characters, I don’t recommend wasting your limited time on these during the run of the OBT.
