How To Dual Wield In Rune Slayer
If you want to be able to use two swords or daggers at once, you have to defeat a boss first. Keep in mind that having the ability to dual-wield only works on either two daggers or two swords, not any other weapon.
Defeating Vangar
Dual wield is dropped by Vangar, The Slayer. It spawns randomly in a cave located in front of the entrance to the beastmen camp. As there is no specific time, all you can do is wait. You shouldn’t have much trouble finding it, as it resembles a human and wears a dark yellow scarf, green trousers, and a burgundy shirt.
You are after the Skill Book for Dual Weapons, which is a rare drop. The boss isn’t guaranteed to drop it either, so you may have to defeat it a few times before you manage to obtain it. Here are the other items it drops:
- Vangar’s Coat
- Vangar’s Scarf
- Sanguine Blade
Dual Wielding
Once you obtain the Skill Book for Dual Weapons, all you have to do is equip either an additional sword or dagger in the spare slot that will be available. From there, you’re good to go! You’ll be able to hold a weapon in each hand. Upping your game in battle and it allows you to deal more damage or attack multiple foes at once.
