How To Win Ink Game Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek, also known as Key and Knives, is one of the newest games introduced. Usually, you get the choice in a voting round between this game and Tug of War after the Lights Out game.

Blue and Red Teams

If the majority wins and you get Hide and Seek, you will be given a colored team. Blue and Red. Both have different jobs, which are crucial to winning.

Blue Team

If you’re the blue team, your goal is to, put simply, survive. The red team will be hunting you down to kill you, and you have the option to either hide or try and find the exit to escape. However, finding the exit is no easy feat! You are in a maze, and although there are doors you can unlock, the locks are different.

The key you get will either be a triangle, a circle, or a rectangle. Each door matches this. Therefore, if you have a circle key, you can only open circle doors. Once a door is open, you can’t lock it again, so anyone can enter.

Red Team

Those in the red team need to kill at least one blue team player. You will be eliminated if you fail to do this. The blue team enters first, so you need to be quick to find them and get them.

Tips To Win

Winning techniques depend on the team you’re in. Although an unpopular opinion, I prefer being in the blue team.

If you are blue, I suggest constantly moving. Although you walk slowly, you can run, but this is on a cooldown. Only run when needed! Avoid dead ends, just in case you need to quickly escape, and try and pinpoint where the doors matching your keys are.

On the other hand, if you are on the red team, make sure you search for open doors. If a door is open, you know a blue player must be close by. Check dead ends and corners in case a blue player decides to hide there. It’s also worth searching the stairways, as they connect floors where blue players may be.
