The Jump Rope update came shortly after Ink Game and quickly became the hardest game of survival. However, DEVs later nerfed it, not once, but twice! This Ink Game Jump Rope Nerf article discusses what happened and gives you tips and tricks on how to best this challenge.

Ink Game Jump Rope Nerf
Jump Rope combined two stressful scenarios, timed jumps and quick reactions. If you failed to jump, you’d fall, and if you failed to stabilise your balance after leaping, you’d fall.
What The Nerf Included
Before its change, the mechanical rope would complete one spin quicker. This added pressure to players, forcing them to work through this game more slowly as they jumped more frequently.
In comparison, now, the rope moves a little bit slower, allowing players some wiggle room to plan and proceed across the flimsy sky bridge. This makes it easier to rebalance after a jump, giving players a few extra valuable seconds to proceed across safely.
That said, it’s still a challenge to complete, so make sure you’re focused when attempting the Jump Rope.
Is Jump Rope Easy Now?
That depends on who you ask. The DEVs haven’t made this minigame foolproof, and it continues to be the demise of many keen players. However, with some practice, it’s easier to understand the timings of everything and how to respond.
If you want to practice Jump Rope, I recommend starting a Private Server (free) and playing solo games. Whilst you can’t skip ahead, it’s quicker to reach Jump Rope solo if you don’t have other players there to sabotage your progression.
That said, you won’t earn any rewards for playing entirely solo, even if you do succeed and go on to win the Ink Games.
