How To Beat Ink Game Tug of War
After the Lights Out round, the lobby will enter a voting stage. Here, you can vote to play Tug of War or Hide and Seek. Whichever game wins the majority is the game everyone will play next.
During Tug of War, you will be in a team of five players (including you). You will go up against another team of five, and only one side can win. Everyone will be in a line, but luckily, the position you are given makes no difference.
How To Win
Once the game starts, a circle will appear on your screen with a blue arrow and a red bar inside. The arrow will spin in this circle, and when it reaches the red bar, you need to click on the screen or press the space bar. This will send the arrow in the opposite direction and move the bar to a different place in the circle.
If you misclick and press the arrow anywhere else in the circle, you will be on a cooldown before you can click again. A red triangle in an exclamation mark will appear above your character that other players can see. It’s a name and shame!
Tips and Tricks
As this game is about teamwork, all of you need to work together. If everyone continuously misses the bar, you will all start to move closer to the edge, which is closer to being eliminated.
- Slow and Steady
- Although you are on a timer, make sure you only click when you’re 100% sure the arrow is in the bar.
- When you click, the arrow will also speed up, so make sure you’re careful.
- Wait
- After you click, I like to wait a few seconds before I attempt to click again. Sometimes the bar will move close to where it already was, and I quickly press it, but I end up missing. Wait for the arrow to spin at least once before clicking again.
It’s also worth mentioning that the top of the screen shows a % of your progress. You can wait it out until the timer ends, too. The team with the highest percentage will win, and the other side will get eliminated.
