Rogue Piece Shanks Obtainment
To get the Shanks blade, head to Jungle Island. Towards the back, on a stone platform, you’ll see the blade wedged into the ground, emitting black and red lightning effects.
Shanks cost 500,000 C$ and 25,000 Rep to buy. Both cash and rep are easy to stockpile via quests and defeating NPCs, Bosses, and other players. Plus, you can keep both your arms!
Given the weapons’ relative cheapness, this blade is ideal for players currently in the mid-game.
Shanks Weapon Movesets
Similar to the Mihawk Dark Blade, Shanks’ weapon has two skills. This weapon is a great option to bridge the gap between early and late-game, given its moderate damage and versatile moves, placing it in the mid-game tier.
- M1: A simple slashing motion, with the blade imbued with red haki energy.
- Deals moderate damage.
- First Skill: The user casts a wide slash sideways that sends a travelling cut in a line AoE toward an enemy.
- Deals immediate and heavy damage.
- Large Range attack.
- Second Skill: A huge circle AoE attack where the player swings the sword, conjuring a rain of red imbued slashes cascading down on all opponents trapped within the radius of this attack.
- Deals consecutive damage over several ticks during the attack.
- Large Range attack.
DPS-wise, this weapon is also similar to Dark Blade. So, unless you’re after collecting them all, you can choose one or the other based on their obtainment or visual preference.
