What Each Tier Means
S: The strongest! I’d be surprised if any characters within this tier shocked you. They’re simply leagues ahead of the rest and have great control in combat, expressing powerful and versatile moves that give them a cutting edge.
A: Secondary to the best, these characters are great to enlist if you’re looking for some more diversity in your team. They’re powerful, reliable, and classic. You can’t really go wrong with enlisting from this tier either.
B: Nestled into the middle tier, these average units, despite their placement in this list, are still formidable allies. They have niche and situational skills that come in clutch in a pinch, and are overall great team fillers.
C: Weak, but not the worst. Characters here have some uses that you may benefit from, but they’re a little too situational to be useful for the majority of the game. If you want to keep progression smooth and linear without much struggle, I recommend enlisting from the higher tiers.
D: Teaming with these folks is a sin within itself. Jokes aside, those dwelling here are rather lacklustre, and I don’t recommend entrusting your progression to them. Unless you’re trying to collect each character, you can safely skip over those here.
