Amazon Prime Video is dropping an exciting new anime series soon. It’s the early works of Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto which will be made into an anime anthology series. It’s titled Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26, and adapts eight of Fujimoto’s short stories.

Why is it titled 17-26?

Well, as I said, the stories are his early works, written between the ages of 17 and 26. They’re taken from his collections Tatsuki Fujimoto Short Stories 17-21 and 22-26, published by Shueisha’s Jump Comics. The series will premiere worldwide in more than 240 regions on November 7th, 2025.

The staff for different stories are not the same. Some of the notable directors include Tetsuaki Watanabe, known for Blue Lock, Nobuyuki Takeuchi of Fireworks, and Kazuaki Terasawa, who worked on The Ancient Magus’ Bride season 2.

Meanwhile, the animation is getting done by a variety of studios, like ZEXCS, Lapin Track, GRAPH77, 100studio, Studio Kafka, and P.A.WORKS. Lending their voices to the characters are actors Kensho Ono, Kana Hanazawa, Tomokazu Sugita, and Junichi Suwabe.

The anime anthology series is officially being handled by the Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 Production Committee with Flagship Line overseeing production. Meanwhile, Avex Pictures has dropped the first trailer. Watch it right here.

‘Mermaid Rhapsody’ adds a touch of melancholy with a romance between a boy and a mermaid. ‘Woke-Up-as-a-Girl Syndrome’ questions identity and self-discovery beyond gender. ‘Nayuta of the Prophecy’ follows siblings struggling against a heavy fate. Lastly, ‘Sisters’ digs into rivalry and growth between artistically driven siblings.
