Type Soul Ranked Rewards
This list compiles the primary rewards from participating in Ranked. Type Soul has a LOT of loot, so to cut out the fodder, I’ve left out ultra-specific prestigious items such as the Yhwach Blood and accessories.
- Shikai Stasis
- Artefact
- Removes the requirement to use an element-specific Shikai Weapon, allowing rollable Shikai Weapons instead.
- True Hogyoku
- Mythical
- Unlocks True variants or rerolls True Vastocar/Vizard ONCE.
- Essences
- Changes race-specific Skills.
- Soul Ticket
- Wipes player’s current slot.
- Cybernetic Box
- Legendary
- Reroll your Quincy attachment.
- Rerolls

- Rerolls Shikai/Res/Volt
- Hogyoku Frags

How Ranked Rewards Works – The Hell Update Refreshment
The old Ranked Rewards System seemed much fairer, judging a player’s ELO and rank to determine the rarity and quantity of their rewards. Whilst Ranked is still somewhat ELO-based, it’s now primarily down to chance.
In short, the first rarity item you receive determines the rarity of every other obtainable item during Ranked. So, if you pull a Mythic such as a True Hogyoku, then all other rewards will be Mythical. However, this works for the lesser rarities too, so if you pull a Rare Elixir, chances are that’s all you’ll gain.
Your ELO has a lesser effect on your rewards pool, but more ELO does increase your chance at higher rarity rewards. Overall, this system isn’t too favourable, and many players are hoping it’s reworked.
