Verse Piece Shadow Army Quest Guide
Three new challenges have appeared within the System Quests, which allow for three more Shadow equip slots when completed. This includes:
- [Shadow Equip] Defeat another player’s shadows 10 times.
- [Shadow Equip] Defeat another player’s shadows 25 times.
- [Shadow Equip] Defeat another player’s shadows 50 times.
Each quest completed rewards x1 Shadow Equip Slot. So, what’s the easiest way to farm these kills?
Phone a Friend!
Not literally, unless you want to. But the easiest way to grind these Shadow levels is by asking a friend to sacrifice their time (and shadows) for you to farm. However, if you don’t have a friend who has progressed into the System, you could instead find somebody willing to help out in the Verse Piece community Discord server.
How To Level Up Your System – Why It’s Important
Levelling up your System allows your Shadows to build strength to better support you during combat, and increase your overall DMG output. Not only that, levelling up opens avenues to new questlines such as the Shadow Army expansion.
I recommend using the starter dummies to train and level up your shadows, as these work wonders for passively generating EXP. At System level 100, your shadows will unlock the Monarch Domain Skill, which enhances their overall DMG for a short duration when triggered.
This works similarly to an ult, but not the exact same! However, given that it applies to all six equipped shadows, it’s an immense power surge that you don’t want to miss out on having.
