What Each Tier Means

S: Standing leagues above all, these top-tier choices are the best breathing techniques currently in Weak Legacy 2. Thanks to reworks or V2 prestige, they’re the strongest around, with each move being fine-tuned for combat and displaying a variety of moves from close and long-range to AoE.

A: Decent alternatives to the top tier if you don’t feel like grinding out a V2, or simply don’t agree with my choices. Those here are powerful and dependable, with skilled moves that greatly enhance their user.

B: Nestled into the middle tier, those here express decent capabilities, having a nice roster of moves that are fun to use and versatile. That said, when comparing raw damage with the higher tiers, they’re not as suited for intense combat.

C: These techniques are decent, but their skills are niche and situational, meaning they’re not the best to utilise for the bulk of the game across story mode, boss fights, dungeons, etc. Similar to the bottom tier, they fell into obscurity with the UPD 5 reworks.

D: Whilst better than no technique at all, those in this tier have fallen behind dramatically with this update. It doesn’t necessarily mean they’re bad, but compared to the reworked and favoured breathing techniques, they fall short on raw power and combat versatility.
