Square Enix had recently announced the launch date for their upcoming mobile game, World of Final Fantasy Meli Melo (ワールド オブ ファイナルファンタジー メリメロ). Players who are interested in the game can expect to see it on the Japan Stores this coming week!
Developed by Drecom Co., Ltd and ForwardWorks Corporation, World of Final Fantasy Merimero is a monster breeding RPG. Combat is turn-based and you can cast spells just by tapping on your monster’s portrait. Based on some gameplay videos from the Close Beta Test, this definitely feels like a Pokemon type game played in the Final Fantasy setting.
The game is slated to launch this coming Tuesday, 12 December, Japan time. Are you ready to collect them all?
