Arise Crossover Expedition System Guide
The Expedition System is a great way to put idle Shadows to work. I recommend utilising it in one of two ways. Either play online, using a different team of shadows from your main loadout (unless you want to train a secondary team and submit your main), or send your team on an Expedition before you go offline for long periods for school, work, sleep, etc.
That is because the Expedition System will temporarily take your Shadows whilst they battle independently from their user. Expeditions, depending on their rarity, typically take anywhere between 1 to 10+ hours for Shadows to complete.
How To Choose an Expedition
First, find the Expedition NPC who resides inside the Arise Guild Tower at Levelling City. Walking towards him will trigger the Expedition pop-up menu.
Depending on your time allowance, grade, and max damage, you’ll have several Expedition options. First, choose an Expedition duration that you don’t mind waiting for.
Next, take a look at how much damage is required for this Expedition. Choose your Shadows based on the minimum required. It’s important to note that most expeditions only allow for 3 Shadows, with some extending to 4 if they’re particularly long.
Note: if your shadows reach the minimum damage, you don’t need to fill up the team! At least not with more powerful units. More damage does not equal less waiting times.
Start the Expedition! When your Shadows return, they will have accumulated several rewards based on their Expedition rarity.
Expedition Rewards
As you may realise, Expeditions are similar to AFK, but allow the player to continue grinding online. Similar to AFK, they have a plethora of decent rewards too, including:
- Common Dust
- Rare Dust
- Legendary Dust
- Common Core
- Rare Core
- Epic Core
- Legendary Core
- Shadow Core
- Tickets
- EXP
- Battle EXP
- Tier Kills
