What Does Rank Up Chance Do in Arise Crossover?
When completing Raids, the Rank Up boost increases the chance of arising a higher-ranked shadow than intended. Typically, a mob’s health and level correspond to their rank when they arise, but the Rank Up chance might override this.
For example, when defeating the Snow Monarch in the Winter Raid, players have the chance to obtain him as an N rank. The Rank Up chance buff means that he potentially awakens as an N+ Rank instead.
This means using fewer materials when manually ranking up shadows, and reducing the grind time significantly, making gameplay progress smoother, and prestige quicker.
Rank Up Relics
So, what items influence the Rank Up chance? Typically, this involves hunting for Relics by completing Dungeons. If you notice a Solo Levelling Dungeon spawn, I recommend completing it as both Relics appear within those.
- Black Monarch Sigil (Rare)
- +130% Rank Up Chance
- Dropped by the Monarch Boss within the Levelling City Double Dungeon.
- Eye of Ascension
- +260% Rank Up Chance
- Dropped by the Statue of God Boss within the Levelling City Double Dungeon
Don’t be fooled! Just because the percentage reads as 130%/260% doesn’t mean rank-ups are guaranteed when arising mobs. The maths isn’t so generous. For example, if you have a 1% chance to arise the Snow Monarch, the Black Monarch Sigil boosts this chance to 2.3%. Similarly, the Eye of Ascension will boost the chance to 3.6%.
