Vow of Potential
When combat tagged, all stats receive a -15% debuff. Taking damage, dealing damage, parrying, and perfect dodging will convert this debuff into a 10% buff.
The aura and music which consume the Vowed player scales with their enhancement percentage.
- Louder audio when maxxed.
- Aura takes after eye colour.
- No stat buffs are kept when out of combat.
Vow of Fist
After reaching a Damage requirement, the inner gates unlock. The more gates unlocked, the more of your HP is siphoned in exchange for a huge Damage buff. This Vow works solely with Hakuda, excluding Submodes, Bankai, Voltstandig, and Resurrection.
Vow of Luck
Dealing damage and landing successful attacks triggers one of two effects:
- Jackpot: The landed attack deals 5% more damage.
- Bankrupt: Lose a burst of Reiatsu
- Jackpot Fever: Triggering three Jackpots in a row puts the player in an empowered state. This restores a moderate amount of HP and generates an enormous Reiatsu Regeneration speed for the music’s duration.
Vow of Sacrifice
By sacrificing a portion of your Damage and Posture, you can conjure a Spirit version of yourself that mimics certain moves, excluding submoves. After dissipating, this Vow has an 8-second cooldown.
How To Get Vows
Whilst it isn’t explicitly clear how to obtain Vows, the common consensus leads players to find the Bamboo Hat Man NPC located within the third layer of Hell. He’s nestled somewhere deep in the maze and challenges the player to a fight in exchange for some Steam of Reiatsu. If you win this brawl, he will bestow you with a random Vow.
As I said, their obtainment isn’t entirely clear, and other players have reported obtaining Vows through Ranked and Soul Wars.
