What Each Tier Means
- S: This Tier consists of the current META team in Anime Expedition, with some alternate units if you want choices. I highly recommend investing in these units, as they’re the elite team of this update and perform exceptionally well throughout all game modes.
- A: Below are the best we have, my alternative selections. If you’re missing some of the top-tier units when curating your meta build, I highly recommend getting these units as secondary backups. They’re incredibly powerful, but have some negligent features that hold them back.
- B: These average units are pretty lacklustre overall, but make for good stepping stone units for early and mid to late-game players. They help bridge that gap, but quickly lose all functionality in the late game.
- C: Mostly underwhelming with a lot of performance issues, but better utility than the bottom tier. I only suggest choosing these if you are brand new to the game.
- D: Forgettable units. Those in this lowly tier aren’t worthwhile whatsoever.
- Support: Units that buff apply supporting perks for your team. These appear throughout the tier.
- Farm: Units that generate cash. These can only be ranked against other farming units due to their unique mechanic.
Anime Expedition Codes
These are all the active Codes as of July 17th, 2026.
- There are currently no active codes for Anime Expedition.
- NOTE: The official Discord community does have a Code channel, so I’ll keep a close eye on it and update as soon as a Code drops. (Likely with game release in a few hours)
How To Redeem Codes
This segment will update as soon as the game drops. By then, I will have full access to the game and can tell you exactly how to redeem Codes.
In the meantime, the waiting lobby in the main game allows you to AFK to earn passive rewards ahead of the release.

- What are farming units?
- Farms have a unique role, which explains why so few characters populate the farming category. Instead of dealing damage or offering support and ally perks, farms stand off to the side and generate more cash per wave. This allows you to earn more gold to invest in expensive units to keep up with the difficulty curve.
