Duet Night Abyss abolished its gacha system in favour of players obtaining characters via their Shards. You have the option of grinding to complete their Shards or buying more outright with external payments. So, in this Duet Night Abyss Tier List, I rank each playable unit from best to worst, based on who you should invest your time into to grind for and unlock!

What Each Tier Means
S: These are the best characters in DNA, and those I most recommend you invest time into obtaining the Shards for. Their skills and team synergy are like no other, giving them excellent battle dominance.
A: Great alternatives to the top-tier fighters if you can’t enlist them, or fancy some diversity in your team. These units may cost less, or simply perform a little less than the top tier, but aren’t anything to be slept on. Their abilities mix well into most team builds, and they’re great at their combat niche.
B: Nestled into the average tier, these units are decent, but replaceable down the line. Chances are, a character in a higher tier exists that does what those here do, but better. However, those in this middle tier do have some situational uses that you may find nifty in a pinch.
C: Weak, but not the worst around. Overall, I don’t recommend settling for these characters, but they have their moments during the early game while you’re saving your Shards.
D: The weakest around! Unless you’re aiming to collect them all, be it for completionists’ satisfaction or to trial every character, I don’t recommend investing in these units whatsoever. They’re lacklustre and easily overwhelmed in combat.
