How to get Magic in Nethros – The Set Up
Before taking on the Magic obtainment quest, you need to invest 10 Points into your Soul Skill Tree. What you choose to benefit from is entirely your own choice.
Obtaining Magic
Head to the Ver’Thoran Jungle and talk with the Paz NPC. You’ll find them easily thanks to an overworld waymarker to their location. Here, you pick up the questline to obtain Magic.
Next, travel to Interstace and climb up the wall near the main central pillar to enter the ??? Cave. I recommend turning up your Gamma visuals so you can see better, as this area is very dark.
Follow the natural path, taking care with the dropdown platforms and random parkour jumps. You’ll eventually reach a strange blue sigil, which teleports you to a domain.
For the final challenge, you must follow the purple path exactly and reach the end, where you play a quick minigame. If you fall off the purple road at any point, you’ll die and need to restart the mission.
After completing the minigame, you’ll understand Magic and can now retrieve Sigils, which appear around the map as circles on the wall. Each Sigil unlocks a new ability spell by claiming it. You can find Sigils easily as they are marked in blue on the main map.
Casting spells is similar to the minigame you played in the domain, where you drag your mouse.
The Witch
If you visit the Witch inside The Lone Tower near the Grasslands, you’ll gain a new quest to collect 4 Tomes. After this, she will allow you to buy a variety of instant cast Spell Tomes for 500 Yen each.
