If the Public Safety organisation isn’t for you, why not learn how to join the Yakuza in Devil Hunter? My guide covers the pros and cons of this secret organisation, including its playstyle differences, Ranks, and more!

Start playing Devil Hunter via Roblox. For more on this Chainsaw Man-inspired game, check out my Star System guide, explaining how Ranks operate for both Public Safety and the Yakuza!

How To Join the Yakuza in Devil Hunter

The Yakuza is an opposing faction to Public Safety. To join, you must first reach Junior Hunter Rank and then speak to the Yakuza leader found within the hideout.

He will task you with an entry quest, which involves defeating Public Safety Players and then gathering funds for the organisation.

Once accepted into the Yakuza, you’ll gain access to a new lineage of Ranks, Contracts, and questlines.

It’s important to know that once you join the Yakuza, you cannot leave. Your save slot will be permanently locked as a Yakuza Faction member.

Yakuza Location

The Yakuza headquarters is located near the Nara Cosmetics shop, found on the street when you head to the bottom of the road and turn left.

Yakuza Ranking System

Similar to Public Safety, the Yakuza have their own corresponding Ranks. Earning Stars and Ranking Up is a similar process, requiring EXP and occasional quest requirements to prestige.

  • Sworn Brother = Junior Hunter
  • Senior Member = First Class Hunter
  • Lieutenant Assistant = Senior Hunter
  • Lieutenant = Semi-Elite Hunter
  • Senior Advisor = Elite Hunter

Yakuza Contracts

Some Contracts between Factions overlap, but like Public Safety, the Yakuza have their own Contracts, which are unavailable to anyone outside of their ranks. Public Safety has the Curse and Future Devil as exclusive Contracts, whereas the Yakuza has:

  • Snake
    • Present 20 Hearts to the Snake Devil.
    • M1: Swallow – Conjure the Snake Devil to swallow a targeted player, inflicting damage and causing ragdoll.
    • M2: Tail – Push back and strike a target with the Snake’s tail.
  • Zombie
    • 10% drop chance from the Zombie Raid.
    • Come Forth: Summon a Zombie to follow you around and attack any targets within the area.
    • Disperse: Despawn your Zombie.
  • Katana Man Hybrid
    • ??% drop chance from the Katana Man Raid.

Should You Join the Yakuza?

The limited Contracts offered by the Yakuza are incredibly strong, but so are the Public Safety exclusive Contracts.

Choosing to join will make your game more difficult, since the Yakuza is within the minority of players, so you may find yourself tag-teamed by Public Safety players during combat.

That said, the Yakuza is a fun faction to play due to its unique questlines and fun battle opportunities, and extremely strong and sought-after Contracts.

In short, it’s worth joining if you’re good at PvE and PvP, and like the Contracts available. If not, I don’t recommend joining.
