During the introductory tutorial, you’ll encounter Oak Oak and Fluorite deposits. Both items are very valuable, but only appear once a day and spawn in random locations. Find out where to find Wandering Oak and Flawless Fluorite in Heartopia using my efficient guide that simplifies the process so you don’t waste any time searching!
Check out Heartopia via its official website. For more video guides, why don’t you learn how to change your hair in Heartopia using my other recent post?
Where to Find Wandering Oak and Fluorite in Heartopia
Locating Wandering Oak and Fluorite
After the initial introduction to both these materials, they’ll begin to spawn in front of player homes. I recommend getting in your vehicle and travelling around the outskirts, checking the porch of each residential house.
If you want to speed up the process, have a trusted friend travel counterclockwise to you, and message you externally to the game (since texting in-game seems to be mostly proximity), if they find either Oak Oak or the Fluorite spawn.
Note: The spawn for each changes daily, so they won’t appear in the same area as they did the day previous. They also don’t always spawn in proximity to one another (like they did in the video!)
Why Are These Materials So Special?
Like other materials that you can collect using the Axe/Pickaxe, each node can only be harvested three times before it enters a cooldown. Usually, this is fine since you can travel and find more of the same node (such as Trees or Bushes, for example); however, Fluorite and Wandering Oak only spawn ONCE per day.
This means if you want to farm and stockpile their rare materials, you need to try and find them daily.
Some of the later-game Furniture craftables rely on Wandering Oak and Fluorite, as well as their semi-frequent appearance in quests. I suggest always having some to hand.
Per day, you can collect x3 Flawless Fluorite and x3 Wandering Oak.
TLDR: They’re super important to your progression!
