Unlocked new hairstyles, and aren’t sure how to equip them? Worry not, for I will tell you how to change your hair in Heartopia. This guide includes a written explanation and video so you can learn in a way that suits you!

How To Change Your Hair in Heartopia
- Head into the centre of Town.
- Locate the Clothing Store (owned by Dorothee).
- Head up the stairs at the back of her store.
- Interact with the chairs/mirror on the second floor to open the Hair and Face cosmetic window.
Alternatively, if you own a Mirror or any kind of vanity (I have the sink with a mirror), you can change your Hair and face cosmetics at home.
The Joinery Floor Mirror (Beginners Mirror) only costs x2 Timber, x6 Stone, and x3 Quality Timber to craft.
How To Unlock Hairstyles
In the style change window, you can purchase more hair. If you’re early-game, these will be the alternate options that you didn’t select when customising your avatar for the first time.
Other hairstyles will appear in this window as you unlock them, typically through the Gacha, and daily challenges such as the New Life Log.
Other Hair Menu Uses
When you open the Hair Editor Menu, you’ll also be able to alter your:
- Skintone
- Alter the colour of your Skin.
- Eyebrows
- Change the shape and colour of your Eyebrows.
- Eyes
- Change the shape, iris, and colour of your Eyes.
- Beard
- Add or remove any facial hair.
- Face Paint
- Add or remove fun decorative facial features such as eye bags, blush, freckles, ageing lines, etc.
The cosmetics, which include colour options, often have palettes locked behind D.G Levels. Check back now and then to see what you’ve unlocked!
