The Heartopia x Sanrio Characters crossover is now live! It brings My Melody, Cinnamoroll, and Kuromi into the game through themed cosmetics, vehicles, furniture, collectibles, and a handful of activities. The collaboration runs until 23 August, 2026.
The collaboration introduces three outfit sets, each based on one of the featured Sanrio Characters. Fans of Cinnamoroll can pick up a light blue and white outfit inspired by the character’s blue eyes, oversized ears, and signature cinnamon roll-shaped tail.
Kuromi’s set goes in a completely different direction with a gothic purple and black design. It also has the familiar pink skull details seen on her hood. Meanwhile, My Melody’s outfit includes a pink and white dress decorated with frilly accessories, strawberry-themed accents, and a rabbit ear headband.
During the Heartopia x Sanrio event, you can also collect a Sanrio Characters Vehicle Collection featuring one vehicle for each of the three characters. It also comes with matching My Melody, Cinnamoroll, and Kuromi backpacks.
The Sanrio Characters Gacha Machine is also live. You can spin it for a chance to receive decorative figures and items inspired by My Melody, Cinnamoroll, and Kuromi, Sanrio Characters stickers, and standard Heartopia resources. Furniture from Sanrio Characters’ Rainbow Cottage is also available through the event.
The Heartopia x Sanrio collab adds several events to the game
Starting on July 17th, they continue until August 24th. It includes Sanrio Characters’ Sweet Secrets. After the event begins, you can earn Random Stickers by completing daily event quests, like filling a secret journal with memories featuring the Sanrio Characters.
Alongside the collaboration, the Whale Song Music Score event is also available. Running from July 16th to July 30th, you can simply claim the Whale Song Music Score from your in-game mailbox during the event period.
