Pearl Abyss has shared its roadmap for upcoming Black Desert Mobile updates during the 2026 Heidel Ball. The event outlined a series of changes that will make progression faster and simplify existing systems. Keep reading to get the full scoop!
Here’s what happened in the Black Desert Mobile Heidel Ball 2026!
One of the biggest progression changes will focus on Knowledge-related content. Rewards from activities such as Constellations, Boss Rush, and Alyaelli’s Rift are set to increase in a future update. They will significantly reduce the amount of time needed to build Knowledge (probably by more than 50%).
The devs also revealed Genesis Gear, a new Nebular-grade equipment tier that will arrive in a future update. You can create it using +9 or higher Blackstar gear along with materials obtained from the upcoming Ulukita region.
Existing enhancement-based stats will carry over to Genesis Gear, letting you retain the progress made on your current equipment. Before that arrives, another equipment-related adjustment is scheduled for July 14th, when the Combat Power requirement needed to obtain Kharazad Accessories will be reduced.
Further system changes are planned for August 4th, when several overlapping features will be merged. At the same time, selected PvE and PvP activities will move to a rotation schedule. Pearl Abyss is also preparing a rework of Node War and Siege War.
The latest update also introduces Season 2. The new season removes time pressure by letting you progress at your own speed. Also, it lets existing characters become seasonal characters for the first time.
Alongside the gameplay updates, the game’s summer celebrations have begun with the Dragon Palace event. It includes limited-time activities, exclusive rewards, and special events for both new and returning players.
