The wait for the next chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen has officially ended. Season 3 Culling Game Part 1 is now streaming, with Episodes 48 and 49 available on Crunchyroll. With the release of Episode 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, the anime’s official channels have revealed a new key visual and creditless versions of the opening and ending theme videos.
The new season launched the long-awaited Culling Game arc, making its broadcast debut in Japan time on January 9th. It’s the start of a major storyline and is considered one of the series’ most action-heavy and unforgiving arcs to date.
The opening theme for Season 3 is AIZO, performed by King Gnu. While the ending theme is Yoake no Uta, also referred to as Song of Dawn, performed by jo0ji. Both songs are available in full through the new videos, free of on-screen credits.

Meanwhile, the key visual is produced by animation studio MAPPA. It shows Yuji Itadori standing at the forefront with a clenched fist and a resolute expression. Behind him are Yuta Okkotsu, wielding a sword, and Megumi Fushiguro.
You can see Suguru Geto, appearing under the name Noritoshi Kamo, with a mocking smile. It underscores his role as the mastermind behind the deadly ritual at the heart of the arc. It also features third-year Jujutsu High students Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi, along with Culling Game participants Hiromi Higuruma and Takaba.

Season 3 adapts the Culling Game arc from Gege Akutami’s shonen manga. It places Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro into a lethal battle royale where alliances are fragile, and survival comes at a cost.
A major focus of the arc is the arrival of Yuta Okkotsu, the special grade jujutsu sorcerer and protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen 0. He enters the conflict as an executioner and turns his blade toward Itadori.
Known in the manga as The Cursed Two, Yuta and Yuji share a mentor. So, their first on-screen encounter leads to one of the most anticipated clashes of cursed energy in the series. You can learn more about the new season here.
