How to Unlock Katana Man Hybrid in Devil Hunter
- Requirements:
- Be a Human
- Join the Yakuza
- Collect x6 Katana Man Fragments
Being Human is self-explanatory. At the beginning of the game, select Human.
To join the Yakuza, you need to reach Junior Hunter Rank first. After this, speak with the Yakuza Boss. He will enlist you if you complete a short quest line for him that includes defeating Public Safety players and retrieving cash for the organisation.
Katana Man Fragments have a 10% drop chance from the Katana Man Raid that takes place hourly at the Samurai Temple.
Katana Man Transformation
Transforming is as simple as holding the Katana Man Fragments and using your M1. This forges the Fragments into a Katana Man Heart.
When transformed, you take on the appearance of the Katana Man, with a blade protruding from your skull and both arms. The Katana’s are considered Medium Weapons, so I recommend investing in your Medium Weapon Proficiency to enhance your Hybrid DMG.
Hybrid Clauses
Becoming a Hybrid wipes all your existing Contracts in exchange for access to any and all Skill Trees within the game.
Katana Man Moveset
- [Z MOVE]
- Rapidly dash through an enemy, slashing them with your blades several times.
- [X MOVE]
- After taking damage from an enemy, aura farm by striking a pose and then rushing into them, unleashing slashes in rapid succession. (Counter Z Move).
- [C ABILITY]
- Clang your blade off the ground, sending a rippling shockwave dealing AoE DMG to nearby targets.
- [CRIT]
- Unleash a powerful strike, thrusting an enemy into the air before dealing knockback.
