A preview for Episode 1 of Oshi no Ko Season 3 is now out. It’s one of the most anticipated anime series of this year, following the unexpected ending of Season 2. The opening episode carries the title Irekomi and is scheduled to premiere on January 14th, 2026.
The episode’s direction and storyboard duties are handled by Daisuke Hiramaki. Kanna Hirayama is serving as chief animation director, while the script is written by Jin Tanaka. Music for the season features Chanmina performing the opening song and natori handling the ending theme.
The story picks up six months after the release of POP IN 2, a period that has quietly reshaped the lives of the main cast. B-Komachi finds itself standing at the edge of a long-awaited breakthrough, largely driven by MEM-Cho’s BTS efforts.
Akane has successfully stepped into the spotlight as a talented actress, while Aqua continues as a multi-talented entertainer. At the same time, Kana’s once-bright cheerfulness has faded, hinting at unresolved struggles beneath the surface. Ruby, meanwhile, continues climbing the entertainment ladder as she pursues the truth surrounding the deaths of Ai and Goro.

The returning voice cast includes Takeo Otsuka as Aquamarine Hoshino, Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino, and Megumi Han as Kana Arima. Then there’s Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa, Rumi Okubo as Mem-cho, Lynn as Miyako Saito, and Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino.
Oshi no Ko Season 3 episode 1 will premiere on January 14th, 2026, in most international regions. It includes the US, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Southeast Asia, the CIS, and additional territories. Crunchyroll has confirmed it will stream the season as part of its 2026 winter anime lineup.
Meanwhile, the Japanese broadcast is confirmed for 11 p.m. on January 14th. The channels include Tokyo MX and BS 11, and the series will also be available on Netflix Japan. It will also air on platforms such as Ani-One Asia, ANIPLUS, and Animation Digital Network.
