The Best Star Savior Team Builds For March 2026

0

This Star Saviour Team Builds guide focuses on refinement to help you progress beyond Chapter 17, when the story mode becomes notably more difficult.

Pushing into Story Mode unlocks Gear Battles and an increased drop rate on T2 pieces, a fundamental treasure trove of build upgrades that helps your team survive into the late game.

So, without further ado, let’s get into the builds and synergise your play.

Star Savior Team Builds

Front Lines

Front-line fighters have an 80% incoming hit rate from enemies, making tank units vital for survivability.

Asherah

Asherah is my favourite unit in the game, and I highly recommend her as your primary front-line fighter.

She’s a bulky tank, being able to take and dish out heavy hits thanks to her HP scaling passives such as L’unisson, which increases her max HP by 15%, restores HP to the ally with the lowest HP, increases self-dual attack chance by 20% (per stack of Insight up to 5 stacks), and recovers proportional to max HP.

Asherah also doubles down as a healer during L’unisson, helping her recoup during battles without losing any battle quality or turns.

At 3-Stars, she reaches her peak as a Crit DPS build, making her skills all the more lethal and hard for enemies to counter.

Lacy

Lacy starts as an incredible front-line tank and DPS, who builds on attack and gains HP and Action Gauge when hit.

However, unlike Asherah, she isn’t a HP-scaling tank, making her fall apart in the late-game. Due to this, I recommend moving her to the backline and bringing in a different DPS Tank like Emily as her replacement.

Back Lines

Back-Line fighters have a 20% incoming hit chance from enemies. These fighters can exchange tankiness for other skills, such as ally buffs.

Bunnygirl Charlotte

Charlotte is undoubtedly the strongest DPS in the game, full stop. Her Cornered Rabbit skill stacks damage thanks to Ingition.

On top of this, her Song of the Toast has an AoE Attack Buffer, applying ATK UP (+30% DMG) on herself and all scaling party members (Asherah and Lacy) for two turns. After triggering Song of the Toast, Bunnygirl Charlotte also has an 84% chance to stack additional Ignition (3 times total) and grant herself an extra turn.

Keeping her as a back-line fighter is crucial as she exchanges healthy HP stats for ATK, making her a bit of a glass cannon.

Emily

The final back-line slot is more flexible to adaptations. That said, I recommend Emily as she is the perfect investment piece to replace Lacy during the late-game content.

She’s a tanky high-damage defence and HP scaling buffer unit, whereas Lacy becomes more fragile in later fights, especially against bosses, as she has lower HP stats.

Emily makes up for this, becoming her replacement as a front-line fighter later on, whilst Lacy becomes a back-line fighter.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: How do I choose teams?
    • A: Before considering unit synergy, I organise the units by type, ensuring to always pack the front lines with Tanks. Tanks take most of the enemy hits, meaning they’re essential for battles as they can afford to take more hits.
    • Cont: Variety between Assassins, Supporters, Strikers, Rangers, Defenders, and Casters is also key, helping take on various enemy types efficiently without struggle. I most recommend prioritising Strikers, Defenders, and Supports.
  • Q: What other characters fit into the flexible back-line formation?
    • A: I recommend checking out my Star Savior Tier List, which includes information on the gacha system and how to reroll if you want to discover good alternative units for your team build.
