Made by a player for other players, I’ve explored the vast selection of blades and have a clear understanding of their skills and strengths, which I’ll express in a classic rank-style Tier.
Let’s get into it.
Lineage Piece Weapons Tier List
This tier list is up to date as of June 19th, 2026.
S-TIER
- Kokushibo
- The newest sword added to Lineage Piece is the immediate top tier. This flashy weapon has incredible control during combat, with rapid, high-damage skills covering PvP and PvE efficiently.
- Shadow Daggers
- An indirect upgrade to the Players’ Dagger.
- Raiden Shogun
- Incredibly strong and flashy.
- Shadow
- Mythic rarity for a reason, this sword is INCREDIBLE for all conflicts you may find yourself in. Flashy and powerful, what more could you want?
- Tensa Zangetsu
- The upgraded version of the Ichigo Sword. Everything that blade does, this one does better. Incredibly strong in both PvP and PvE.
A-TIER
- Player’s Dagger
- Executes all moves quickly, ending most fights before they begin. This is an incredible set of blades with a solid roster of moves.
- Ichigo
- An incredible sword to main thanks to its strong close and long-range attacks, including versatile AoE moves and an incredible C-Move ultimate. Overall, a solid choice for progression into the late and end-game.
- Yoru
- You might think this is too high a placement for Yoru, but I truly think the skills of this blade are what make it excel for mid-to-late-game players. It’s the IDEAL Sword to use to bridge the gap into the end-game whilst working towards attaining mythical weapons. It’s cheaper than Gryphon, and not notably more or less stronger.
B-TIER
- Saber
- Unpopular opinion, I know. Saber isn’t my favourite late-game blade, mostly due to its simple skills. It feels a little lacklustre to wield compared to its peers. Good strength overall, though.
- Gryphon
- An incredible upgrade from the Katana if you skip over the other early-game weapons. Gryphon offers powerful and flashy skills, covering close range and AoE.
C-TIER
- Stylish Bandit Slayer
- Obtained via Cid, these dual crowbars are a fine upgrade from the Katana, but aren’t strong enough to support their host into the mid to late-game.
- Dual-Katana
- The only thing better than one Katana is two! This is still a primative blade with lacklustre skills and damage, but it’s a nice upgrade from the Katana.
D-TIER
- Katana
- The Katana exists as a baseline for strength due to its featuring in the early-game, and quickly becomes outpaced after leaving the starter island. It’s a simple one-skill sword.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What does each Tier mean?
- S: The strongest and most flashy weapons in the game. Those here I consider end-game potential, with great combat control in PvE and PvE.
- A: Secondary to the top, these are still great permanent weapons if you prefer them for your build, but they have some lacking factors, be it skill versatility or overall damage when compared to the top tier.
- B: Nice upgrades from the early-game weapons. I recommend investing in one of these next if you’re new to the game.
- C: Decent stepping stones, but forgettable blades that find themselves quickly outpaced. You could skip over these and jump straight to a B-Tier weapon.
- D: The lonely tier reserved solely for the Katana.
