With a lot of Skill Trees to keep up with, it’s hard to find resources on what you need, catering to your unique build. Well, whilst this isn’t a total index for the predominant Skill Tree in VV ULTIMATUM, I am here to introduce you to the Skill Essences.

VV ULTIMATUM Skill Essences
This Skill Essences list is up to date as of June 8th, 2026.
Kido Skill Essences
- Radiant Edge
- Requires: 125 Kido and 4 SPC.
- Conjure a greatsword imbued with Reishi and swing it in front of you, devastating any enemies in your path.
- Note: Sword Colour is based on your Reishi colour.
- Grand King’s Cero (Arrancar Exclusive)
- Requires: 360 Kido and 9 SPC.
- There are only two rules in Los Noches, one being that the usage of the Gran Rey Cero is strictly forbidden. This insanely powerful and expensive skill extension beams enemies, dealing serious damage.
- Kurohitsugi (Soul Reaper Exclusive)
- Requires: 360 Kido and 9 SPC.
- Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy. Bail forth and deny. Grow numb and flicker. Distrupt sleep. Crawling queen of Iron. Eternally self-destructing doll of mod. Unite. Repulse. Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness!
- Note: Obscure description aside (taken from in-game Skill Log), this is the pinnacle skill for Soul Reapers, hence the heavy investment.
Hakuda Skill Essences
- Enduring Heel
- Requires: 200 Hakuda and 0 SPC
- Brace yourself for incoming damage, reducing it by 95%, then retaliate on the target with a powerful kick, which deals full damage and concusses opponents.
Strength Skill Essences
- Raging Grasp
- Requires: 250 Strength and 0 SPC.
- Charge towards a target and grab them by the head. This move opens up for solid combos and finishers.
Speed Skill Essences
- Splitting Standstill
- Requires: 300 Speed and 4 SPC.
- Cut an opponent twice before they even realise it. Pressing Counter will trigger this Skill early.
- Precision Slicer
- Drops from Raids and Junichiro.
- Requires: 275 Speed and 4 SPC.
- The user locks onto the target, slicing them with acute precision to deal serious damage at rapid speeds.
Hybrid Skill Essences
- Slicing Dropkick
- Requires: TBA
- The user spins and kicks, sending an enemy into the air before chasing them skyborne and slamming down onto them with a kick, followed by a sword attack.

- Which are the best Skill Essences to unlock?
- Unfortunately, I can’t give a solid answer for this since each Skill Tree is unique to the player, preference, race, etc. I recommend considering your current strengths and building on them with the Skill Essences that are applicable to your choices.
- Note: Though with personal preference accounted for, I do love Enduring Heel as it tackles both preservation and retaliation. It’s got great balance for PvP.
- What does SPC mean?
- Skill Point Cost.
- What are the main Skill Trees?
- Universal Skill Tree (not race-locked) includes: Hakuda, Strength, Speed, Misc, and Sensory. Race-locked Skill Trees include: Quincy, Shinigami, and Arrancar.
