Demon Born Weapons Tier List
This Weapons Tier is up to date as of June 23rd, 2026. [WORLD CUP BETA]
S-TIER
- Scarlet Flame Katana
- Despite having the same crafting recipe as those in the A-Tier, the Scarlet Flame is an incredible weapon. It seems to carve through enemies and is pretty fun to wield.
- Venomveil Katana
- The Venomveil is pretty strong and reliable, being a well-rounded weapon and primary choice.
A-TIER
- Bloodpelt Katana
- Bloodpelt has such a wicked name, which it follows up with by having powerful swings and decent combat versatility.
- Ocean’s Whisper Katana
- Despite the name, this blade is hardly a whisper on the battlefield, bursting onto the scene with domination and flashy attacks. It’s not as efficient as its crafted cousins with the same recipe, but it’s still a great main weapon option if you like it.
B-TIER
- Bamboo Katana
- A rather simple weapon with some additional statistical advantages compared to the basic Katana. Still, it has a long way to go to be considered a powerful primary weapon.
C-TIER
- There are no C-TIER Weapons.
D-TIER
- Nichirin Sword / Katana
- The humble beginner’s blade. Nothing remarkable, but it gets the job done when fighting.
What Each Tier Means
- S: The best weapons in Demon Born. These have incredible stats that favour the wielder, even against tough bosses. They’re adaptable, strong, and impressive!
- A: Solid alternatives to the highest tier if you’re not at the point of attaining them. Those here are powerful and support the user well, but have one or two snags, giving them a notable drawback.
- B: These middle-tier blades are pretty average and good upgrades from the Katana. They’re pretty niche and situational, meaning they won’t fit every build, but they’ll provide some unique strengths to their user.
- C: A slight upgrade from the Katana. I don’t really recommend investing in those in this tier, as they’re not different enough from the Katana to replace it, nor are they better than the higher-tier options to be a bridge between the early and later-game swords.
- D: This bottom tier is solely for the beginners; the Katana is a point of reference for all those that place above it. As this is the beginner’s blade, there isn’t much to say about its performance.

- How do I craft Weapons?
- Visit a Blacksmith and input the corresponding materials. I have a Demon Born Crafting Recipes guide to help you out.
- Do Demons use Weapons?
- Not that I can tell. They rely solely on the skills of their Blood Demon Arts, whereas Slayers have Breathing Techniques and a complementary blade. This is likely why the release saw more BDAs than Breathings.
- How do I find a Blacksmith?
- Press U to pull up the waypoint map and search for nearby Blacksmiths. They’re usually within villages. Follow the general direction, and you’ll find one. The more studs the location has, the further away it is.
