Starting on July 2nd and concluding on July 29th, 2026, Resident Evil Survival Unit from Aniplex and JOYCITY is having its servers invaded by all-new kinds of gory beasts in the Resident Evil Survival Unit x Monster Hunter collaboration.
This first-ever joining between franchises brings with it the authentic experience of both games in a thrilling, highlight-packed event. As expected, this includes tons of collab-exclusive rewards to commemorate joining in the fun, and showing off new limited edition wares as a testament to player prowess for taking down B.O.W.s and monsters alike.
Legendary Monsters
This wouldn’t be a Monster Hunter invasion collab without some of what makes Monster Hunter so iconic. During this crossover event, the frightening likes of Yian Kut-Ku and Rathalos, amongst many other recognisable beasts, will be roaming around the Resident Evil Survival Unit servers.
To take them down, players will enlist the help of others using the brand-new co-op experience implemented. Team up with friends and strangers alike and thrash the monsters before immersing into one of many of the very special events… the renowned meat-grilling game, taken straight from the mainline Monster Hunter franchise.
During meat grilling, players will use the carcass dropped by the monsters and cook it over a fire to gain rewards. Just make sure there aren’t any zombie-fied flesh pieces. Who knows what would happen if those got eaten?
Even More Legendary Heroes
Joining the fight, a handful of heroes from Monster Hunter will team up with the Resident Evil Survival Unit game cast as permanently unlockable characters. Plus, they’re free to attain, bonus!
