In hopes that Enel one day comes back from his holiday on the moon, I’m going to tell you How To Awaken Electricity in Haze Seas.
The process of Awakening Electricity into its Raijin form is pretty simple, even if tedious. But the payoff is shockingly powerful. Hah!
Let’s get into it.
How To Awaken Electricity in Haze Seas
In short, place four Divine Sparks into the pillars to summon Raijin, defeat him for the Raijin Core (100% drop chance), and then take the Raijin Core to the Poneglyph to unlock a V2 Skill. Repeat this until each Electricity V2 Skill is unlocked.
To initiate Electricity V2, you need full mastery on Electricity V1, and then Transform by pressing E. When in Raijin Form, you’ll gain the following moves:
- Z MOVE: Thunder Reflux (0 Mastery)
- X MOVE: Chain Lightning (25 Mastery)
- C MOVE: Guiding Thunder (50 Mastery)
- V MOVE: Terror Beam (75 Mastery)
- B MOVE: Dual Lightning Emperor (100 Mastery)
- F MOVE: Thunder Flight (0 Mastery)
- Enables flight, which Electricity V1 doesn’t have)
Getting Divine Sparks
The new Rainbow Sky Island introduces a bunch of new mobs, all of which have a 0.5% chance to drop Divine Sparks on defeat. I suggest finding a cluster of the Thunder Soldiers and using Thunder V1 to AFK farm them.
Fortunately, the Thunder Soldiers cannot deal damage if you use Electricity since it’s a Logia type and they don’t wield fruits or use Buso Haki.
The AFK method: Heavenly Sphere (large AoE nuke that pulls enemies closer) -> Electric Beam (close-range AoE long-tick attack) -> Lightning Strike (beams the enemies within range).
If this doesn’t finish them off (if you’re not at max level or haven’t invested enough stats in Fruit Power), follow up with Thunder Pull.
Defeating Raijin (Boss)
You need four Divine Sparks to summon Raijin, and after defeat there is a 1-hour cooldown before you can respawn him. Because of this, I recommend beating the boss and then grinding the Thunder Soldiers again for more Divine Sparks so that you always have some at the ready until you collect everything you need.
Place a Divine Spark into each of the golden Pillars to spawn Raijin. To qualify for drops, you need to contribute at least 21% of overall DMG. Something to keep in mind if battling in a public server.
- Raijin Drops – 378,908 HP (Need to deal 79,571~ DMG to qualify)
- Raijin Core: 100% drop chance
- Blade Fragment: 10% drop chance
My only advice for this fight is not to let Raijin within M1 range, as he can easily sweep with just his powerful M1S. Keep your distance and fire long-range/AoE attacks at him (if using Electric V1).
