Anime Apocalypse Ability Tier List

These rankings are up to date as of May 4th, 2026.

S-TIER

  • Saiyan
    • Understandably, the most overpowered weapon in the entire game. Has incredible range and powerful skills, as well as air-time moves to help keep the user away from the hordes of zombies, keeping the user safe from potential overwhelm.
  • Head of Hei
    • This weapon set proves itself as one of the greats, being incredible at soloing during campaigns. Its only potential drawback lies in its short-range skills, but if you practice and master this weapon, this shouldn’t feel like too much of a claustrophobic hindrance.
  • Coyote
    • Flashy, low cooldowns, and great damage when maxed out. Coyote blasts its way through undead crowds and comfortably finds its way into most players’ S-Tier.

A-TIER

  • Shadow Monarch (Atomic)
    • Incredibly powerful skills that 1-shot and clear entire rooms during early-phase levels thanks to incredible AoE Range. This weapon doesn’t keep up in the late-game due to long cooldowns, but is a solid primary choice.
  • Pride
    • Pride is my personal choice for the best weapon in A-Tier. It’s pretty well balanced, with strong skill moves, high damage, and decent cooldowns, allowing it the versatility for successful solo campaigns, clearing rooms efficiently and swiftly.

B-TIER

  • Sosuke
    • Makes light work of clearing rooms with versatile AoE attacks. Overall, a decent middle-tier weapon for early-game players who don’t have the funds to keep rerolling.
  • Fire Fighter
    • This battlepass weapon isn’t the most fun to play, but for a freebie, it isn’t so bad. Clears fairly quickly, but is a significantly lesser version of Pride.

C-TIER

  • King of Curses
    • A super underwhelming weapon with weak, drawn-out attacks. Most players, myself included, who have sampled King of Curses always end up dead before clearing the initial rooms of a new campaign. Tricky utility and overall not the strongest choice.
  • Nen Prodigy
    • Overall, kind of mid. It’s a low rarity weapon and often rerolled due to its lacklustre skills, range, and damage.

D-TIER

  • Zorro
    • The humble beginner’s weapon. There isn’t much to say about this weapon other than it’s good for practice and learning combat, whilst you work on attaining your first true weapon.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does each tier mean
    • S: The absolute strongest weapons that I cannot recommend enough. Universally accepted as the best, with great damage, skills, AoE range, and cooldowns.
    • A: Great alternatives to the top tier if you can’t roll for them, or simply don’t synergise with their playstyle and want alternatives. Those here have some cracks compared to the top tier, but all issues are negligible in capable hands.
    • B: Nestled in the middle tier, those here are decent, but have notable skill gaps compared to the highest tiers. On new campaigns, they find themselves outpaced and overwhelmed during the later waves for one reason or another.
    • C: Weak weapons. Ideally, you’ll never use these if you get your hands on some codes and reroll for a higher-tier weapon. Those here are lacklustre, not providing the necessary skills to aid in survivability.
    • D: This lonely tier is solely to host the beginner weapon that all players gain when joining for the first time. It sets up a fundamental basis for what all weapons above it stand for.
