What Each Tier Means
S: These top-tier units are those I most recommend you build your team around and upgrade. They’re the current meta units, covering a variety of combat styles from support, tank, AoE, and meta DPS, meaning you leave no gaps for enemies to overwhelm you.
A: Great alternatives to the top tier if you’re not favoured by the summons, or want a different loadout. Those in this tier don’t have as refined skills as the top tier, but make formidable allies and create a powerful and balanced team.
B: In the middle tier, these units are tertiary options if you’re in a pinch, offering niche and situational uses. They’re fine in the early game whilst you clear stages and earn more summons, but are very quickly outgrown and can’t keep up.
C: Weak, but not the worst. This tier is reserved for the early-game units that have some merit where upgrades are concerned, but are overall not that adaptable during later stages on the first few maps. I recommend swapping them out as soon as possible.
D: The weakest of the units. These early-game characters offer lacklustre skills that are easily found and enhanced in the higher-tier units. I don’t recommend wasting team placement or upgrades on these.
