What Each Tier Means

S: These are the strongest characters to enlist in Kaiju NO.8. If you team-build around these, you’ll enjoy an ironclad formation that stands leagues above the rest! They’re adaptable to most fights and greatly help enhance one another to ensure survivability.

A: Great alternatives to the top tier if you need to fill your team, or fancy mixing and matching. Those in this tier are strong, but have a few negligible gaps in their combat resume that leave them with small vulnerabilities.

B: Nestled into the average tier, these units are just that! They make for great tertiary units to enlist if you’re struggling to format a team.

C: Better than the worst tier, but still lacklustre. You can do better, so I suggest aiming higher! Those in this tier have some niche and situational uses, but are overall easily overwhelmed and outperformed by higher-tier units.

D: The weakest characters… I wouldn’t recommend using these characters unless you’re in desperate need of fodder. Their combat skills and abilities don’t offer much in terms of strength or team enhancements.
