My monstrous player-made Sword x Staff Skills Tier List has everything you need to get started in your new chibi campaign. Here, I rank all Warrior and Sorcerer Skills, including their abilities, to give you insight into how they synergise into your team.
Additionally, I’ll explain Rerolling in Sword x Staff, giving you insight into whether it’s worth your time. And, if you stick around to the end, I’ve also found all the active Gift Codes.

Sword x Staff Skills Tier List
This Tier is up to date as of May 20th, 2026.
S-TIER Warrior Skills
- Mountain Collapse [WARRIOR]
- Deals Physical DMG once to all enemies within 2 grids of the caster, knocking them airborne with a 60% chance to knock them back by 1 grid.
- Iron Fortress [WARRIOR]
- At the start of battle: Increase the DEF of all allied characters within a 3-grid square area of the caster by a percentage of the caster’s own DEF. Cannot be dispelled.
- Leap Attack [WARRIOR]
- Leaps to an unoccupied tile within 3 grids of the caster, dealing Physical DMG once to all enemies within 1 grid of the caster. Has a 50% chance to inflict Armor Break 2 for 2 turns.
- Boiling Bloodlust [WARRIOR]
- Increases the caster’s Crit Rate and Crit DMG for 4 turns. (Zero initial CD)
- Luminous Shield [WARRIOR]
- Increase the caster’s Block Rate and Block Efficiently for 3 turns. (Zero initial CD)
- Heavy Impact [WARRIOR]
- Attacks 1 enemy within 1 grid of the caster, dealing Physical DMG once and knocking them airborne. (Prioritises large enemies)
- Blade of Lament [WARRIOR]
- Each time a Technique deals DMG to an enemy, trigger Lifesteal, healing up to 50% of the caster’s max HP.
S-TIER Sorcerer Skills
- Fiery Star Trail [SORCERER]
- Deals Fire Doom DMG twice to all enemies within a 3-grid circular area of the caster.
- Flickering Stars [SORCERER]
- Selects a grid within 6 grids of the caster. Deals Light DMG once to all enemies within one grid of the target grid and dispels 1 random buff from the enemies.
- Frosty Nova [SORCERER]
- Selects a grid within 3 grids of the caster. Deals Water DMG once to all enemies within a 1-grid square of the target grid. Has a 30% chance of inflicting Frozen for 1 turn.
- Light of Dawn [SORCERER]
- Deals Light Doom DMG twice to all enemies in a 1×8 grid in front of the caster.
- Void Bubble [SORCERER]
- When the caster’s HP drops below 50% for the first time in battle, grant a shield based on their max HP for 2 turns, and Dodge for 2 turns. (Cannot be dispelled)
A-TIER
- Wind Blade Slash [WARRIOR]
- Deals Wind DMG once to all enemies within a 1×4 grid in front of the caster. Has a 50% base chance to knock enemies back by 1 grid.
- Lion Combo [WARRIOR]
- Deal Physical DMG 3 times to 1 enemy within 1 grid of the caster.
- Quadrant Slash [WARRIOR]
- Deals Physical DMG once to all enemies within 1 grid of the caster.
- Relentless Frenzy [WARRIOR]
- Increases the caster’s speed for each enemy kill (stacks up to 4).
- Insightful Eye [WARRIOR]
- Increases the caster’s Crit Rate.
- Counter Blade [WARRIOR]
- When damaged by an enemy’s Technique within 2 grids of the caster, there is a 50% chance to trigger counterattack, dealing Physical DMG once to the attacker.
- Energy Burst [SORCERER]
- The next damaging Technique gains increased accuracy and deals 50% more DMG.
B-TIER
- Life Blessing [WARRIOR]
- Increases the caster’s HP.
- Block Awareness [WARRIOR]
- Increases the caster’s Block Rate.
- Pure Protection [WARRIOR]
- Each time the casters’ HP drops below 50%, a shield is applied based on DEF.
- Phantom Assault [WARRIOR]
- Deals Physical DMG once to 1 enemy within 1 grid of the caster, then moves back 3 grids.
- Warrior’s Essence [WARRIOR]
- Increases the caster’s attack.
- Strength Rules [WARRIOR]
- Increases the caster’s Physical Mastery.
- Crystal Armor [WARRIOR]
- Increases the caster’s defence.
- Elemental Harmony [SORCERER]
- For each element among equipped Techniques that deal DMG, increase the caster’s Elemental Mastery, stacking up to 4 times.
C-TIER
- Whirlwind Slash [WARRIOR]
- Deals Physical DMG 4 times to all enemies within a 1-grid square of the caster.
- Gravity Pull [WARRIOR]
- Selects a grid within 7 grids of the caster. Deals Wind DMG once to all enemies within 1-grid square of the target grid and pulls enemies to the caster’s location.
- Feline Dance [WARRIOR]
- Increases the caster’s speed.
- Blade Tempest [WARRIOR]
- Each time the caster’s Technique deals DMG to an enemy, there is a 40% chance to trigger Sword Gale, which deals additional Wind DMG once.
- Diving Gale [WARRIOR]
- Selects a grid within 4 grids of the caster. Deals Wind DMG once to all enemies within 1 grid of the target grid.
- Lightning Chain [SORCERER]
- Deals Light DMG once to 1 enemy within 4 grids of the caster. The effect chains to 1 random enemy within 4 grids of the target, up to 9 times. Each enemy takes damage from this Skill once per chain effect.
- Wind’s Shadow [SORCERER]
- Has a 30% chance to deal additional Wind DMG and a 50% base chance to delay the target’s action by 20% after dealing Wind DMG 3 times to an enemy with Techniques.
D-TIER
- Edge Strike [WARRIOR]
- Deals Physical DMG once to 1 enemy within 1 grid of the caster.
- Lightning Mastery [SORCERER]
- Each time the caster’s Technique deals DMG to an enemy, there is a 30% chance to trigger a Thunder Strike, which deals additional Light DMG once.
- Raging Wildfire [SORCERER]
- Has a 20% chance to inflict Burn on grids within range when casting a Fire Technique.
Reroll Guide
Truthfully, I don’t recommend rerolling in Sword x Staff as the time investment won’t produce new results that you can’t achieve with standard gameplay.
What I mean by this is that Sword x Staff releases with only two unique Classes (Sorcerer and Warrior), with more to come over the next few weeks. This already restricts what Skills you’ll find useful when summoning, and you’re likely to collect all Skills with minimal currency investment thanks to this limitation.
Additionally, Sword x Staff has limited server space, so if you plan on joining friends for Dungeons, Raids, etc, you won’t want to risk rerolling and being assigned a different server when the one your friends play on becomes full.

- What does each tier mean?
- S: The most valuable Skills with great and powerful executions and perfect synergy with other Skills and allies alike.
- A: Strong and valuable Skills with great combat control and decent versatility.
- B: Average Skills with decent universal application. These make great filler Skills for your team.
- C: These Skills fall to chance, and their abilities aren’t universal enough to justify their placement in a build.
- D: These Skills have a low chance of triggering and rely too much on synergy with other skills for execution. Overall, they’re not worth the slot.
- What is Doom DMG?
- Doom DMG: Shield Break: Deals +100% DMG to the enemy target’s shields. Deals +100% DMG to enemy summons.
- Where are the other Class Skills?
- Since the game releases with only Sorcerer and Warrior Skills, I’ve temporarily refined the Tier List to suit these two classes. If you’re interested in the remainder of the rankings, I recommend checking back soon.
