Type Soul Maze Girl Survivalist Guide
Within the third ring of Hell lies the Maze, where the infamous Maze Girl resides. This NPC appears randomly as a creepy PNG at the bottom of players’ screens. She sifts through a few animations, each a silent queue for what the player should do.
As much as she watches you, you need to watch her.
Surviving the Maze Girl
When the Maze Girl appears, she will either be watching the player with her unsettling eyes or covering her face with her hands.
When looking at the player, stop moving. Similar to Red Light Green Light from Squid Games, moving will trigger her to become hostile, and the Maze Girl will attack the player, which they cannot counter or defend from. Fortunately, it’ll take a few triggers to kill a player and isn’t immediate, but I’d still recommend being cautious.
However, when she covers her eyes with her hands, you’re free to move, and she isn’t monitoring your position. When covered, you should make haste through the maze to find the Bamboo Hat Man, where you can obtain a Vow or find the exit, depending on your needs.
To get to the exit, I recommend keeping left. Most players say this is the easiest way to navigate the treacherous maze. After escaping, you’ll be teleported into the Library.
