Type Soul Shikai Tier List
A Shikai is essentially a Shinigami’s ability, which they receive automatically once they reach Grade 2. Each Shikai Spirit that communicates with the player hints at their personality, which slightly influences the Shikai type.
S-Tier
- Snow: Mythic (0.5%)
- Benihime: Mythic (0.5%)
- Kyoka Suigetsu: Mythic (0.5%)
- Ink: Legendary (3%)
- Theatre: Legendary (3%)
- Flower: Legendary (3%)
A-Tier
- Duality: Mythic (0.5%)
- Ice: Legendary (3%)
- Assimilation: Legendary (3%)
- Suzumebachi: Legendary (3%)
- Judgement: Rare (10%)
B-Tier
- Blood: Legendary (3%)
- Ash: Rare (10%)
- Zangetsu: Rare (10%)
- Shinso: Rare (10%)
- Berserk: Rare (10%)
C-Tier
- Fire: Rare (10%)
- Water: Rare (10%)
- Confusion: Rare (10%)
- Creation: Common (86.5%)
- Lightning: Common (86.5%)
- Shadow: Common (86.5%)

D-Tier
- Weight: Common (86.5%)
- Poison: Common (86.5%)
What Each Tier Means
S: The absolute best of the best! These Shikai dominate the competition within their lineage, helping you control the battlefield against other players from any race, and during missions or boss fights.
A: Great alternatives to those in the top ranks. If you rolled one of these Shikai, I’d encourage you to keep them for now, as rerolling risks you adopting a worse Shikai. Those in this tier shouldn’t be slept on, as they host great combat potential, versatility, and skills to utilise.
B: These average-tier Shikais pose situational and niche uses that come in clutch if you know how to wield them. They’re decent tertiary options if you’re in a pinch.
C: Heading into the weaker tiers, you’d struggle to adapt to the following Shikai long-term, as they don’t offer much move-set versatility or strength.
D: I would not recommend using these Shikai abilities; you may as well have no elemental advantage at all…
