How It Works
Type Soul doesn’t offer cross-server trading. This means that to exchange items, you need to join the same server as your trading partner.
If you’re after something specific or have a pre-determined trade in mind, you need the Trading Server to help locate an ideal trading partner.
However, if you’re simply looking for offers or curious about what’s available, you can simply speak to the Rin NPC in Karakura Town to view what players in your server are willing to part with.
Note: Just because you use a Trading Server doesn’t mean you bypass potential scams. Always take caution when performing trades to avoid losing valuable items.
Why You Need a Trading Server
Trading Servers allow you to fair exchange, reaching a wider audience of potential matches. If you’re after specific loot, you can choose the best offer so as not to lose too many of your valuables.
Or, you could put unwanted valuables up for offers to check the value to see if anything strikes your fancy.
Without the aid of a Trading Server, you’ll end up spending longer finding trades you’re happy with. This, in turn, slows down your progression and is just frustrating.
What Items are Tradeable?
Most items, par for those necessary to the storyline, are tradeable. This means you can exchange and source prestige items, accessories, weapons, and more through other players.
