Verse Piece Ultimate Rune Guide
If you completely skipped over the intro, you may not know that the Ultimate Rune is used to unlock the Lancer F move. This weapon comes preloaded with moves but is far more lethal with its full skillset unlocked.
The F move does 108,960 damage over 5 seconds. It does have a long 7-second startup and 90-second cooldown, but these are small trade-offs in exchange for a lethal move capable of 1-hit KO’ing certain enemies.
In comparison, these are the other moves which the Lancer weapon offers:
- M1 – 10,060 DMG
- Basic attack
- Z Move – 44,012 DMG
- A thrusting poke move which stabs an enemy in front of the player.
- X Move – 55,749 DMG
- The player spins the weapon, creating a circle of red and black, dealing circle AoE DMG.
- C Move – 54,491 DMG
- A vicious slamming move cracks the ground, followed by a larger downward strike.
- V Move – 64,970 DMG
- After a small charge-up, the player dispels built-up energy in an explosive thrust move.
- F Move – 108,960
- An ultimate move where the player takes to the sky on charge-up before obliterating an enemy with a lethal pierce.
Obtaining An Ultimate Rune
To get your hands on the Ultimate Rune and then the Lancer F Move, you must defeat the Lancer Boss. This boss spawns every 10 minutes in a random location and has 20 million HP.
On defeat, he drops the Lancer’s Loot, which has a chance to contain the Ultimate Rune and Gae Bolg. Alongside those are standard Boss Drops such as Gems, Cash, Tickets, and more.
