Square Enix together with DeNA have come together to announce a new Dragon Quest mobile game project called Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai: Souls (勇者鬥惡龍 達伊的大冒險 -魂之絆-). The game is slated to launch in 2021.
Based on the game’s trailer, Souls seems like a Runner cum Hack’n’Slash type game. You will be able to form a party of 3 characters and “charge forward” to defeat waves of enemies.
The game is slated to launch in 2021. I guess we will wait till then to find out more about the game.
