Find out where and how to get the new meta katana in my Rune Slayer Tarnished Kubikiri guide, which also covers its stats!

Start playing Rune Slayer via Roblox. For more, check out our Rune Slayer Pet Tier List, which may come in handy for one of the steps to obtaining your Tarnished Kubikiri! Or, maybe you’d prefer our Rune Slayer Weapons Tier List, where you can see where the Tarnished Kubikiri ranks!

How To Get The Rune Slayer Tarnished Kubikiri

First, head to the Balgaron Chasm. I recommend bringing a mount with you with decent jump reach since you’ll need to utilise it for parkour. Head down the large stony pillars until you reach the beginning of the parkour, which you’ll notice hugs closely to the wall with only small platforms poking out.

HINT: If you tilt your camera, you can see through the walls and find the next jumps!

Follow the path of the parkour, making sure to use your mount to cross the longer jumps. Be careful, since Imps will spawn along the path. Towards the end, you should see a red room where you can descend and speak with the Ancient Demon NPC.

If you feed the Ancient Demon a Demon Heart (dropped from Imps and Fiends), he will give you a random reward from the following:

  • Ancient Demon Rune (Epic)
  • Eidolon Rune (Legendary)
  • Satanic Rune (Legendary)
  • Rune Carvers (Legendary)
  • Tarnished Kubikiri (Legendary)

Tarnished Kubikiri Stats

For each Demon Heart, you can get a new reward, so keep trying until you get the Tarnished Kubikiri! Once obtained, this legendary Katana has the following stats:

  • Level to handle: 50
  • 16 Physical DMG
  • +10 Strength
  • +25 Agility
  • +10 Stamina
  • 6% Haemorrhage build-up per attack. Each hit has the chance to make an enemy Bleed. Bleed deals additional damage over several ticks, helping whittle down their health.
