What Each Tier Means
S: The best! These Partners are unlike all others, nestling nicely at the top of the food chain. They’re the most dependable, with great combat control, skills and attributes that greatly enhance themselves and the rest of the team to express synergy and versatility.
A: Excellent secondary choices if you don’t have access to those from the top tier, or fancy something new. Those here have great capabilities and are dependable options if you’re looking for your forever partner.
B: Residing in the middle tier, these average Partners are decent to enlist as tertiary options. They’re not the most skilled or versatile, but they can be dependable in a pinch. They’re good at helping you progress until you unlock those from the higher two tiers.
C: Whilst not the weakest, those here have niche and situational skills that don’t often have a chance to shine. That, and they typically have a higher-tier counterpart that can do what they do but better and more refined. I overall do not recommend these units.
D: The weakest Partners available in the game. Those here don’t enhance your gameplay enough to justify a placement in your loadout. Even in the early game, they’re lacklustre and easily outclassed by their peers in the higher tiers. I recommend choosing higher to avoid a dead end during campaigns.
